POLL: 80% of New Yorkers know Santa Claus workED at Macy's!

New York, NY-December 22.  Some good news for Macy's this holidayseason!  Eighty percent of New Yorkersknow that Kris Kringle, A.K.A. Jolly Old Saint Nick , worked at the fameddepartment store, according The New York Pass or Fail Survey, which will beformally released next week.

 

More New Yorkers knew about Santa's stint at Macy's thanthey did about any other question asked in The New York Pass or Fail Survey,which is sponsored by New York Pass, the city's leading discount attractioncard.  The New York Pass or Fail Surveywas conducted by Kellyanne Conway of the polling company, inc.. It surveyed 300 NewYork residents in all five boroughs to find out how much they know about theircity.  (Margin of error: + or - 5.7%)

"New Yorkers know their departments stores andclearly love Santa," said New York Pass spokesman Ken Barrows. "Whenwe surveyed them earlier this year, only half of New Yorkers knew the EmpireState Building is on the West Side of Manhattan and only a quarter knew thatWave Hill is in the Bronx.  But eight inten New Yorkers know that Santa worked at Macy's-the result leapt of the pagelike reindeer from a rooftop. We look forward to releasing the full results ofthe survey next week."
