The Steamboat Institute Invites Kellyanne Conway to Join in Panel Discussion and Weekend Conference

the polling company, inc./WomanTrend President and CEO Kellyanne Conway was invited to join a panel discussion on "2010 - The Year of the Conservative Woman."  The Second Annual Freedom Conference, held in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, features politicians and experts from across the country, including keynote speaker Karl Rove.  The Steamboat Institute promotes basic founding principles like limited government, low taxes, free markets, individual rights and responsibilities, and a strong national defense.  Learn more about the Steamboat Institute here, and view the tentative conference schedule here.

SBA List Commissions the polling company/WomanTrend To Conduct Research in Key Congressional Districts

Following up on extensive pre-health care vote survey research, the polling company/WomanTrend surveyed voters in Ohio's First Congressional District, Pennsylvania's Third Congressional District, and statewide in Indiana with an oversample in the Second Congressional District.  The poll, conducted on behalf of the Susan B. Anthony List, looked at the consequences voting for the healthcare bill might have for Members of Congress in these districts.  Voters were also asked to judge certain provisions of the bill that could have implications for the pro-life movement.  Read the SBA List news release on the findings here.

Former Congressman David McIntosh and Kellyanne Conway jointly look at Elena Kagan's Judicial Philosophy

Kellyanne Conway Joins Distinguished Panel on Capitol Hill

Kellyanne Conway, President and CEO of the polling company/WomanTrend, joined a distinguished panel including Dr. Janice Shaw Crouse (Author, Columnist, Commentator), Kathryn Nix (Researcher – Heritage Foundation),  and Diana Furchtgott-Roth from the Hudson Institute to discuss the fiscal consequences of the Obama agenda.  Concerned Women for America sponsored the Capitol Hill event held in the Rayburn House Office Building.  The panel discussed the practical implications for women in America as well as impact of “Obamanomics” on the greater economic landscape.  Learn more about Concerned Women for America here, and read Dr. Crouse's analysis of “Obamanomics” here.

Kellyanne Conway Speaks to  Leadership Women

On May 12, 2010, Kellyanne Conway delivered a presentation on “Polling, Women, Trends, and the GOP” to the a group of Leadership Women at the Holiday Inn on Capitol Hill.  Kellyanne’s discussed the changing political landscape approaching the mid-term elections and the impact of the controversial healthcare vote on incumbents’ re-election prospects.  Her presentation blended tpc/WT survey research with publicly released polling data to provide a 360 degree perspective on the political landscape.

tpc/WT conducts polling on behalf of Save the Children

Save the Children commissioned tpc/WT to research the willingness to provide aid to struggling mothers in developing countries as part of  a new multimedia Public Service Advertising campaign.  The new campaign, called "Good Goes," shows Americans that they can have a significant impact on saving and improving the lives of at-risk children and newborns by supporting the deployment of local health workers.  Read the Press Release here, and to find about more about the Good Goes campaign click here.

Kellyanne Conway named one of 2010’s “Women to Watch”

Kellyanne Conway, President and CEO of the polling company, inc./WomanTrend will be honored as one of 2010’s Women to Watch at the Running Start Gala on May 12th.  The Women to Watch Awards are held each spring in Washington, DC and celebrate Running Start’s efforts to inspire young women to run for public office.  Kellyanne Conway will be among a distinguished group of honorees at the event at the National Press Club in Washington, DC. Kellyanne Presents at the National Ocean Industries Association Annual Meeting

Kellyanne Conway, president & CEO of the polling company™, inc./WomanTrend spoke at the annual meeting of the National Ocean Industries Association (NOIA).  The organization’s mission is to “secure reliable access and a favorable regulatory and economic environment for the companies that develop the nation’s valuable offshore energy resources in an environmentally responsible manner.”  Kellyanne appeared on April 22 during the three-day annual meeting in Washington, DC.  Her presentation “Hot Topics, Hot Races and Hot Buttons: Who and What to Watch in 2010” explored the midterm elections and public opinion on critical energy issues.  Learn more about the NOIA, the annual meeting, and the meeting schedule.

Kellyanne Addresses the ACLA

Kellyanne Conway of the polling company, inc./WomanTrend delivered a lecture to 15th annual meeting of the American Clinical Laboratory Association.   The ACLA is a not-for-profit organization launched in the 1970s. This organization offers specialized benefits and services to its members while playing a vital role in advocating for laws and regulations that “recognize the essential role that laboratory services play in delivering cost-effective health care.”  Kellyanne’s look at the 2010 midterms was presented in conjunction with Celinda Lake, President of Lake Research Partners.  Kellyanne and Celinda are long-time collaborators and co-authored the book What Women Really Want in 2005.  Find out more about the ACLA.

Pennsylvania Leadership Conference Features Kellyanne Conway as Keynote Speaker

Kellyanne Conway, President and CEO of the polling company, inc./WomanTrend was among a group of distinguished lecturers including Dick Morris, Phyllis Schlafly, U.S. Senate candidate Pat Toomey, Human Event’s John Gizzi, Pennsylvania Attorney General and Gubernatorial Candidate Tom Corbett, and many others.  The Leadership Conference was first organized in 1989 by the Pennsylvania Leadership Council and has become “a two-day issues forum that brings together activists from across the Commonwealth to share ideas, network, and discuss issues with conservative leaders and elected officials.”  Lowman Henry, President of the Pennsylvania Leadership Council, introduced Kellyanne, and the full video of her speech is available online here (click on Keynote Speech).

Kellyanne Conway Talks at the Republican Women’s Federal Forum

the polling company/WomanTrend’s CEO & President, Kellyanne Conway, took to the stage and addressed the Republican Women’s Federal Forum (RWFF) on April 8, 2010, at the Capitol Hill Club in Washington, D.C.  Kellyanne spoke on a variety of issues and trends impacting the current political landscape, including the rise of the Tea Party and tpc/WT’s recent polling on the healthcare bill.  RWFF Susan Allen, wife of former Virginia Governor George Allen, invited Kellyanne to speak to members.  Each month, RWFF members from DC, Maryland, and Virginia gather to hear a speaker of note and “to enjoy exchanging ideas with fellow Republicans concerning public policy issues that are the forefront of the news.”  Access more information on the Republican Women’s Federal Forum.
